The Dread Nett is a unisex crochet netted tam that has a drawstring closure to tie at the nape of the neck. Offered in one main colour with a stripe of red gold green in the middle.
The black or white will have a slightly brighter tone of green as pictured. The army green is used for the Rasta stripe, so if that choice is selected for the main colour, the green in the stripe will be darker.
Made to order. Will stretch. Machine wash cold and dryer safe.
All tams are 11.5 inches wide at opening or 23 inches circumference. Please indicate if you need a smaller or bigger opening. Your choice should match your head circumference.
Choose Extra Small for locks just staring out and very short , low to scalp, or for short hair without dreadlocks. Children age 5-6. Size extra small is 8 inches in height from top to opening and 11 inches in width in middle of hat. (XS is previous size S, previous to 2019)
Choose Small for locks jaw length and shorter. For natural hair with afro, shoulder length. If locks are extra thick, choose Medium or Large. Children age 6-7 with hair a little longer than shoulder length. Size Small is 11 inches wide in the middle of hat, 9.5 inches from top to opening of hat.
Choose Medium for shoulders and longer, halfway to elbow on the arm. Or for elbow length dreadlocks that are thin or small in total number. If locks are very thick choose Large. For children age 8-10 with hair of similar length or longer. Medium is 10 inches in height and 12.5 inches wide in the middle of the hat.
Choose Large for elbow to waist, or to buttocks if locks are thin and small in number. Large is 11.5 inches in height and 12.5 inches in width in the middle of the hat.
Choose XL for locks buttock to calf length which ideally should be put up into a loose bun before wear. XL is 12.5 inches in height and 12.5 inches in width in the middle of the hat.

All tams are made to order, please be sure of your hair length and head circumference before you order. For hygienic and reasons, headwear is nonrefundable and cannot be returned unless for alteration where possible.
All tams are machine or hand washable. Line dry only.
